Nepal(Information about Nepal)

Nepal : (Federal democratic Republic of Nepal) is a landlocked country. It has an area of 147,516 Square kilometer(56,956 square mi).It lies in South Asia bordering the Republic of India (from south, east and west) and the Republic of China (from north).It is mainly situated in the Himalayas  which also includes Indo-Gangetic (Indus-Ganga Plain and North Indian River Plain) parts. Nepal has a diverse geography, including fertile plains, subalpine forested hills and high mountains. Mt. Everest(8848 meters) known as world`s highest peak is also lies in northern part of Nepal. It`s capital city is Kathmandu and it is also the largest city of Nepal. Nepal is rich in natural resources (known as second richest country in water resources).
